17 months...

This month has been a blast with Watson.  He is absolutely hilarious every single day.  We still have a tantrum...just about every day...but once that comes and goes he is good to go :)  I realized that some of the pictures I put in Watson's 16 month post were actually from this month, so I don't have too many for this one...

He is loving his legos and books still - I absolutely love hearing him "read" out loud to me...which he does ALL the time.  I love how much he loves his books - I hope that continues throughout his life!

We have had some pretty cold days, but that hasn't stopped little man from getting outside - this is definitely his "happy place"...always.

He has also started to love stickers - and for whatever reason he thinks they should go on his face and no where else :)

Several times this month he fell asleep while eating...which is sad and hilarious at the same time.  I always take him up to bed when he starts to do this...but I have to admit that we laugh really hard watching him...and snapping a few pics first :)  He sleeps great still...praise the Lord!  He usually sleeps 2-3 hours during the day, and 11-13 hours at night.

One of his favorite things to play with right now is a container of zip-ties.  Random, I know, but he LOVES them!  I had to get them out when I was decorating for Christmas, and they quickly turned in to his favorite toy.  Looks like I need to find a game of pick-up-sticks to buy this boy!

We did go through another round of croup this month...and an awful cough for about a week after that...but luckily it never got too bad and cleared up with a round of antibiotics.  He only had a couple days of being pitiful...and a couple of nights winding up in our bed... :)

Christmas in Pictures...

Merry Christmas!

Christmas this year was so much fun.  We stayed in Birmingham so we were able to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my family at my parent's house.  I absolutely love this time of year!

Christmas tree at our house this year - I wish Christmas trees were a year-round thing :)

Helping us make Christmas cookies - he wasn't too in to it this year...maybe next year!

We had a lot of this going on by the tree this year :)  He really did so much better than we thought...we weren't sure if the tree would still be standing by Christmas day...but sweet boy only messed with it occasionally...although he knew he wasn't supposed to :)

Graham and I Christmas morning...and yes, you can tell that I am 5 months pregnant :)

Watson loves cuddling with Poppa...In fact, sometimes Poppa is the only one who can get him to go to sleep.

Christmas morning...Santa came!  We stayed at my parent's house Christmas Eve night, so Santa visited Watson at their house :)

My beautiful Mom

Mom and Abby on Christmas morning

Watson cheered for everyone opening their gifts while sitting on the stairs...for whatever reason he loves sitting on this first step at mom and dad's house?!

These two are trouble together...!

Melanie and I with our Dabado.  So blessed to have spent this day with him.

Dabado and his kiddos...beautiful family!
