October...

October in pictures...

W and Hampton had a blast at our library's Henry Hugglemonster event.  They got to make their own monster vest, watch a monster story and even eat a monster donut - what more could you want?!

My makeup loving girl...

I love rainy mornings where we can stay in bed in our pj's and watch cartoons - I know these days won't last long so I truly do try to soak up these moments.

More carousel fun on the bench for W and a horse for E :)

Hamming it up for the camera!

Watson is holding one of his most prized possessions - a Rescue Bot.  He love, love LOVES Rescue Bots!

A very rare site these days!

Graham's 34th birthday was this month.  We celebrated with donuts at Krispy Kreme - as requested by the birthday boy himself.  Needless to say, Watson and Emma were thrilled with this outing!  I unfortunately did not get a picture of Graham on his birthday - not sure how that happened!

We had to pull out the nebulizer again this month.  I am really praying that Emma's reactive airway disease is better this year than it was last year.  We spent WAY too much time with this machine last year!

HALLOWEEN! Graham and Reynolds were out of town for Halloween this year, so Mel and I got the kids together to go trick or treating in my neighborhood.  Mom and Dad joined as well - it was a lot of fun!  We had to get an early start this year because storms were predicted to start when it got dark...and luckily we did because the bottom fell out of the sky as we were halfway around the neighborhood!

Two Rescue Bots and a Cheerleader - cutest ones I've ever seen :)

Emma was all about the idea of trick or treating, but not so much into getting dressed up on this night.  I couldn't get her to wear her Minnie Mouse ears...and couldn't really get a smile...but she really did have fun!  There were lots of people out with their dogs so as long as she was able to pet every puppy we passed she was happy as can be :)

One of our neighbors always does a hayride around the neighborhood for trick or treating - the kids thought this was the best thing ever!

Disney on Ice came through town this month and my wonderful Dad bought tickets for my family to go!  I cannot explain how excited Watson and Emma were when we walked in...it was precious!

September...

I LOVE Summer - I love warm weather, the beach, swimming, the long days...it's the best.  However, every single year I am so glad when September comes around because we can finally start to get back in a schedule and back in the swing of things.  I'm a routine girl..for better or for worse..so this month is always a good one to me!

Every trip to the Galleria includes a ride on the carousel.  My sweet boy only wants to ride on the bench...one day we will talk him into riding one of the horses!

The bigger horse the better for this girl.  It is amazing how different they are!!

Love them so much - even when carrying all 60 pounds of them around the mall!

One of the highlights of the month was getting to make a quick trip to Atlanta to see my college friends.  They now officially all live in the Atlanta area so although it's hard knowing they are able to get together often, it makes it convenient to get to see all of them at once when I make the trip over!  The fam joined me this time and we stayed with Mollie Ann, Russ and their precious baby girl, Anna Claire.  Miss Kitty stole the show for my kids though...

8 kids and counting... Love these ladies and their babies so very much!

Emma LOVES makeup - every time I am putting mine on she runs over to put some on herself.  She is really becoming a pro at applying lipstick :)

Watson loves getting his haircut - and I cant resist taking a picture of that sweet smile!

School started back this month!!!!  I don't know who was more excited - them, or me :)  Like I said above - summers are so much fun, but it was definitely time...for all of us...for school to start back up!  Watson and Emma love school which I am so thankful for!

In just a month Emma went from loving her crib to begging for me to "take the wall down."  We finally caved and transitioned her crib into a toddler bed.  She was THRILLED!!  Sleeping has been interesting since we made the change, but hopefully she will get the hang of it soon!

Someone was a little excited about her new baby doll!

This dear friend of mine, Ashley, got married this month to a wonderful man.  The Lord has done an amazing work in Ash's life and it was an honor to stand next to her as she started this new stage of life.

A picture of the two of us is rare these days so we have to take advantage of the times that we are dressed up!  Thankful that this man will always be my wedding date - couldn't ask for a better man to walk with through life.

Breakout Birmingham - we didn't escape, but we had fun trying!

Graham is known by many for his match-making skills.  Here is yet another couple that he is responsible for setting up.  Sarah Beth and Billy - two of the best, most genuine people you will find!

Trip to the zoo with sweet Levi

We attempted an all-cousin spend the night party at mom and dad's house this month.  Not much sleeping took place, but lots of fun was had by these three (and Emma...not pictured here because she was sleeping soundly in her crib upstairs!)

August...

August was a month filled with lots of swimming, birthday parties and playing outside!  Words do not describe how happy it makes me to see my babies having fun and I was blessed with lots of those moments this month!

Here is a recap in pictures...

Lots of dress up goes on each day!  Some days are just too hot to be outside so I'm thankful the kids can entertain themselves this way! (And it's really, really cute!)

Emma L-O-V-E-S her crib and her sleep.  She sleeps 12 hours at night and 2-3 hours every afternoon.  I am THANKFUL!!!!

A man with a chainsaw - now this is a sight I like to see!  Our backyard is still a huge work in progress but we are slowly trying to chip away at the projects.

Sweet Abby started Kindergarten this year.  I cannot believe she is old enough to start school!

Watson is so very reserved and cautious so any kind of 'risk taking' requires lots of encouragement from me and Graham.  Once he tries it he almost always loves whatever it may be.  In this case it was a water slide at a birthday party.  We were so proud of him for trying it - then we couldn't get him off of it without tears when it was time to go home!

Meanwhile, this one will try anything at anytime!  But, if there is a swing around, I can promise you she will find her way to it!

The paci...or as Emma calls it, her "papi"...will we EVER get rid of it?  I keep saying we are going to but she loves it so much and honestly I do too... One day we will drop it!

Graham had a meeting in Tuscaloosa one afternoon so the kids and I tagged along.  We found a little outdoor area to play while Daddy was in his meeting.  It was a cute area...until I realized we were playing outside of the County Jail.  Oops!

Pure excitement to ride in the car out of his carseat!  Don't worry - we were in a parking lot and literally went about 100 yards.  It was a blast for the kids though :)

This girl is a ball of sass and personality.  She is constantly keeping us laughing...and on our toes...

She also loves the camera.  Watson does not.  Can you tell by the number of pics I have of each of them?!

Watch out roads - Watson is behind the wheel!

Diva.

I can hardly pass a park without the kids begging to stop.  They don't always win, but if we have time I usually give it.  Such was the case this day :)
