September...

The months are flying by way too fast these days!

School started this month...we were ALL very excited about this :)

Emma is in 3K, 3 days a week

Watson is in 4K, 5 days a week

Hink bought W a new hat and he was PUMPED about it!

Soccer also started this month.  Watson and Hampton are on the same team...The Flying Eagles

Meanwhile on the sideline...

Hot days call for ice cream!

We had to take some pictures of W's favorite things for a school project - the park was at the top of the list!

Abner came to Birmingham this month!  It was so much fun getting to spend time with him and have my kids fall in love with him.  They even scored a Spanish lesson and some M&M's out of their time together :)

So thankful for this man and his family.

Emma's self portrait from school...

We have spent LOTS of time in the driveway playing with water balloons, water guns, and our plastic pool this summer!  Sweet kiddos were great sports - it was hard to go to the actual pool with Mason being so young so we had to improvise a lot!

The pool was a lifesaver this summer until this happened....  GROSS.

My uncle, Mike - thankful for time with him this summer as well!

Super Hero day at dance - apparently we need to up our game in Super Hero clothes for girls!

Audra and Ryan Whaley - dear friends and amazing examples for my children.

Cancer stinks.  Thankful for the innocence of a child to bring a smile to our face in the hardest of days.  Here is Emma in Nannie's wig - we turned around and found her with it on :)

August...

August in pictures...

Dance parties at the house...

Visiting Poppa at Samford - these two were so excited to "eat pizza and ice cream and see a classroom!" They got to do all three - we love that Poppa works at Samford!

Hot days call for the pool...and an umbrella for sweet Mason :)  Thanks Mel!

This princess has learned the art of blow drying your freshly painted nails...

So thankful for this sweet girl.

Nannie and Hink came to visit!  Love, love, love the relationship these two have...

Chuy's with my girl

Thank goodness for water guns and plastic pools on these hot days!

This boy has a heart of gold.  I am SO proud of him.

In bed with my three loves.  For some reason I made it into all of these pictures and Graham is not in any!  It's usually the other way around!

I heard giggling in the backseat and found this...

Team USA day at dance!

We had our annual Kick Off Event at church this month.  I love helping to plan events for the women at our church - it is my prayer that each lady that walks through those doors will not remember an 'event' but an encounter with Christ.

One of my favorite sights...

This month we celebrated my beautiful mother's 60th birthday.  Words do not come close to expressing my love and gratitude for this lady.  She is strong, talented, determined, loving, hospitable, beautiful inside and out.  She loves others well and has a sincere desire to help everyone in the name of Jesus.  She takes care of our family and loves her grandchildren deeply.  Mom, you are my best friend and I thank the Lord for blessing me with our relationship.  Thank you for showing me what it looks like to be a good wife, loving mom, and devoted follower of Christ.  I LOVE YOU!

AirWalk trip with the Kennedys and Andersons!  Christina and I have managed to be pregnant together all three times..all three of our kids are about a month apart.  Love this family and when my sister and I have mutual friends!

You never know what you will find with this silly girl...Who doesn't go to bed in their sunglasses?!

Cheese! :)

Five months...

Mason Hill, you are the happiest, most joyful baby in the world.  You bring so much joy to our family - words do not come close to describing how much you are loved!!

Size clothes: 6 - 9 month clothes
Size diaper: Size 2
Eats: Nurses every 3-4 hours during the day and usually one time during the night.  We tried rice cereal one week before he turned 5 months.  He really liked it (after a few bites!) but the next two days were miserable - he went to the bathroom ALL day...literally TEN times in one day!  He was also super fussy...maybe it was coincidence but it was bad enough that I decided to hold off.  The more research I did said to skip cereal all together and wait for baby food, so who knows what I'll do.. But for now, we are holding off!
Sleeps: Typically goes down between 7:30-8 and wakes up for the day between 6-7.  He's a good little sleeper and is only waking up once at night to eat...I'll take it!

We aren't quite ready for the exersaucer but we had to give it a shot!

First bite of cereal!

Everyone had to get in on feeding Mason!  Watson and Emma were SO excited that they were getting to feed him :)

It's hard being five months old...tummy time often turns into sleepy time while the big kids are getting ready for school in the mornings!

Thank you Jesus for these boys!

Question?

Hanging with Poppa at the soccer field

That sweet face...my heart!

Mason, this month you were dedicated at church.  We are so thankful for a church body that loves our family and agrees to come alongside us as we raise you and your brother and sister...pointing each of you to Christ and teaching you about Him every day.  Oh how I pray that you will recognize your need for Jesus at an early age and surrender your life to Him.  Run after Him always, sweet boy - He will never fail you.

The verse that we prayed over you that day was Galatians 2:20  "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me"

Sweetest little rolls in all the world!
