8 months...

Size clothes: 6 and 9 month
Size diaper: 2
Eating: Nurses 4-5 times a day and is so incredibly distracted while nursing!  If I cannot get to a room where we are by ourselves, she will not nurse well.  Eats a baby food fruit in the morning and two baby food veggies at night.  Loves her baby food!
Sleeping: Sweet girl still likes to see me in the middle of the night... I would say she probably sleeps through the night 3-4 nights out of the week.  She naps twice a day, anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 hours each.  We are so fortunate with Emma that she pretty much trained herself to put herself to sleep.  She will sometimes fall asleep while nursing, but for the most part she goes down awake and does great!

Some things to note for this month:
-Crawling like a champ!

-Two bottom teeth are in, four top teeth are on their way

-Talks and babbles all day long...sweetest sound there is! I have not heard any specific consonants yet but lots of "aaahhhhh, yaaaaa, yaaa" I love this!

-Drools all day - I cannot see any other teeth coming in but goodness gracious this girl can drool!

-Loves her family...gets so excited when she sees her mommy, daddy, or brother

-Absolutely in love with and adores her daddy and Watson!

-Has tried to clap a few times

-Took a trip to the ER for an upper respiratory infection

-Waving some but not consistently

-Loves toys...she is great about keeping herself entertained and playing by herself with toys

-She is so active and such a little wiggle worm!

-Does not like to be left alone in a room...and lets us all know!

-Can stand holding on to something
-Pulls up to knees

Sweet girl we love you so very much.  You bring so much joy to our family!!

Christmas...

Merry Christmas!!!

Around the House...

Watson had his own mini tree in his room this year.  He got to pick out the ornaments he wanted to use and helped me decorate his tree.

Christmas at The Club...
Mom and Dad took Me, Melanie, Abby and Watson to The Club for dinner and pictures with Santa.  It was SUCH a fun night and such a treat to spend some special time with the older kids!

They are truly the sweetest of friends...

My beautiful mom!

Family pic with Santa :)

Love these two women more than I can say!

Beyond thankful for this sweet boy and the relationship God has blessed us with.

Abby was tearing up the dance floor the minute the music started!  She eventually got Watson out there with her.  I loved watching our timid (in public) boy let loose and dance!

Blessed by these two.

Love him.

Best parents in the world.

Christmas Eve...
This actually wasn't Christmas Eve...it was a few days before :)  We had a great time celebrating with my dad's side of the family.

Graham putting some toys together on Christmas Eve

Christmas morning...We spent the night at mom and dad's house on Christmas Eve and then had lunch with the whole family on Christmas Day.  I truly cherish times with my whole family together!

December...

Most of my pictures from December are from Christmas or Christmas related events, so those will be in my next post.  I've also realized that my monthly posts are turning out to be mainly just Watson...but that's because all of Emma's pictures are in her month to month posts!
Said right before taking this picture: "Mommy I play on da pooter"

I told W he could bring a toy with him in the car.  Next thing I know I hear him breathing hard struggling to get to the garage...with this drum set.  The car ride consisted of him banging on the drums and singing "Jingle Bells."  This boy...I love him so!

We paint, a lot, in this house.  It often leads straight to a bath because W's favorite thing is to paint his hands and make hand prints on the paper.

So this isn't the greatest picture, but it's the only one I have from this night!  Graham and I had a party the night of the SEC Championship game.  We ended up having it at my parents since their house could hold everyone much more comfortably than ours :)  Dad loved having a house full of Auburn fans, though!

While waiting in line to see Santa, we ran into Melanie, Catherine and Russ.  Watson and Catherine decided to take a trip down to the toy store to pass some time.  Holding hands, of course :)

We went to look at Christmas lights one night..Watson LOVED doing this!  I am writing this post at the end of January and he STILL says "More lights Mommy!  I want more lights!" when we are in the car at night.  Before going out we stopped by Starbucks for some coffee for us and a cake pop for Watson.

 No words for this one...

When it's cold outside I have to get creative on entertaining the kiddos...but sometimes they entertain themselves with the simplest of things...like sitting in a laundry basket together?!

Cow-licks galore!

Coloring with his new favorite..."Sarpies"

I was able to go to Childrens Hospital with my sweet Hampton for one of his Speech Therapy appointments.  Sweet Bug had a swallow study done this month and unfortunately did not pass :(  We are praying so much for some answers for this precious boy.  If you are reading this, please take a moment to say a prayer for healing over him!
