February...

February was a busy month!  Here is a quick recap in pics...

Spending as much time outside as we can.  Sweet boy has been so patient...between having a baby sister and the cold weather, our time outside has been limited.  He would literally stay outside all day every day if we let him.

Graham got his take-home police car...and Watson thinks it is the absolute coolest thing.  He always says 'I go see Daddy's powice car mommy?'

Graham was hit with the stomach bug this month...and since I am terrified of our whole family coming down with it, Watson walked around in a mask with Lysol wipes.  Ha...he LOVES to clean with wipes, so I let him go at it! ...and hey, the rest of us avoided the bug so we were happy about that!

31 months of pure joy :)

As I said before...outside time has been limited so we have to get creative with ways to stay entertained.  Thank goodness for a double sided sink that is perfect for these water-loving babies.

This month was the Mercedes Marathon in Birmingham, which raises money to support The Bell Center.  My precious nephew, Hampton, attends the Bell Center so he was able to run in a sprint the day before the race.  We, of course, had to go be his cheering section!

The next day was the actual race.  Melanie and Reynolds both ran the Half Marathon, while Dad, Dana, BC, and myself ran the relay as Team Hampton's Heroes.  This was my first time running in a race, and while I only ran the 5K leg of the relay, I can honestly say it was one of the most fun things I have ever done!  My goal is to run the half next year...

Running with this sweet boys picture on your back is motivation for anyone!

Before the race...it was freeeeezing!

Play dates with one of Watson's favorite buddies, Asher :)

Wild-man Hampton!

Hampton's 2nd birthday was this month - it was a cowboy party...doesn't Watson look thrilled to be wearing the hat?

Watson has been all about wearing 'mommy's boots' lately.

Nannie and Hink came to visit...which means Watson stayed cuddled up and smiling the entire time they were here :)  I love the special relationship they share!

9 months...

I have got to get better about using my actual camera for taking pictures rather than just relying on my phone!  I realized this as I was looking at my pictures from this month that they are all blurry and not great quality... That aside, this has been a wonderful month with our precious little love!

I can't wait until Emma's hair grows out a little more and she can wear bows!  For now we just play at night.  Don't get me wrong, though...I adore that sweet bald head and will miss giving it kisses all day long :)

Weight: 18lbs 1oz
Length: 28 1/4"
Size Diaper: 3
Size Clothes: 6 and 9 month
Eating: Nurses 4-6 times a day, Eats baby food in the morning and evening.  Have tried avocados, puffs and mum mums...only seems to like the mum mums at this point.  Eats baby food great...has thankfully liked everything except for green beans
Sleeping: Sleeps through the night a couple nights a week, takes 2 naps that are anywhere from 1.5-3 hours long

Sweet girl is so smiley :)  People always comment when we are out about what a sweet girl she is because she smiles at everyone who walks past us.

Saying "da-da-da-da" all day long.  I'm trying to teach her "ma-ma" but it's just not happening yet.

Emma always sits in a 'w' shape with both of her little legs curved back.  Her pediatrician said that we really need to correct this every time, which we do, but she immediately moves her legs back.  Apparently this can cause some issues with her feet turning in, which hers do a little, but we are hoping it will not cause any setbacks in her beginning to walk.

Pulls to a standing position when she really wants something :)  Would still rather be picked up...all day...

Super fast crawler...girl can get from point A to point B in no time at all!

This picture pretty much sums up every evening.  Graham in the floor playing with the kids, Watson building a tower and destroying it, and Emma climbing all over everything/everyone.

We officially have 6 teeth, though only two of the are fully in.

She loves climbing onto this bottom shelf..and then falling off..and crying..and doing it all over again :)

I know I say this in every post, but it is worth noting because of the extent of it...but oh my gracious does she LOVE her brother and daddy.  It is precious.  Absolutely precious.

There was one day that she cruised around our ottoman...but I think it may have just been a fluke because it has not happened since.

This picture...we put Watson's hat on Emma and he obviously was not happy about it.  You can see that in the background. Poor love..afternoons are so hard for him now that he has given up naps...he gets so upset over the smallest of things

Time is flying by with this angel.  Will she really be 1 in just a few months??  Unbelievable!

January...

This January was FREEZING!  We had snow, ice, and lots of fun!  Cabin fever definitely started to set in though... we are ready for Spring!!

No Home Depot trip is complete without a stop by the lawnmowers...

I love seeing these two angels play together!

As I said...it has been freezing.  Layers, upon layers, upon layers were a must for these southerners :)

Love my boy

 Craft time at the Andersons

Proof of cabin fever setting in!

Emma's face in this picture cracks me up.  Any time we are at a store with one of these carts, Watson insists on riding in it.  I am thankful though...it keeps him occupied for about 10 minutes :)

Brother sister love before bedtime

Little girls dress up as princesses....Watson dresses up as a soldier :)

Taking advantage of the sunshine and a little warmer weather!

Watson is all about laying down on the couch these days.  He will sneak out of bed at nap time and bed time, set up camp on the couch and when I find him he says "Mommy, I lay on towch"

Snow!!

The snow storm this month caused quite the fiasco in Birmingham.  Cars were stuck all over the city, which caused people to abandon their cars and walk to shelter.  I was home with the kids, thankfully.  Graham, however, was out.  He was able to make it part of the way home, but had to abandon his car in a parking lot and walk a little over 4 miles to get home.  We were so thankful when he walked up...frozen...to the front door!

Playing with my boy! He LOVED the snow!

Sweet girl had to get in on the snow too :)
 Triplets.

I love seeing these two play together

Nut.

We had a great month.  We have officially begun the house hunting process so that is exciting!

8 months...

Size clothes: 6 and 9 month
Size diaper: 2
Eating: Nurses 4-5 times a day and is so incredibly distracted while nursing!  If I cannot get to a room where we are by ourselves, she will not nurse well.  Eats a baby food fruit in the morning and two baby food veggies at night.  Loves her baby food!
Sleeping: Sweet girl still likes to see me in the middle of the night... I would say she probably sleeps through the night 3-4 nights out of the week.  She naps twice a day, anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 hours each.  We are so fortunate with Emma that she pretty much trained herself to put herself to sleep.  She will sometimes fall asleep while nursing, but for the most part she goes down awake and does great!

Some things to note for this month:
-Crawling like a champ!

-Two bottom teeth are in, four top teeth are on their way

-Talks and babbles all day long...sweetest sound there is! I have not heard any specific consonants yet but lots of "aaahhhhh, yaaaaa, yaaa" I love this!

-Drools all day - I cannot see any other teeth coming in but goodness gracious this girl can drool!

-Loves her family...gets so excited when she sees her mommy, daddy, or brother

-Absolutely in love with and adores her daddy and Watson!

-Has tried to clap a few times

-Took a trip to the ER for an upper respiratory infection

-Waving some but not consistently

-Loves toys...she is great about keeping herself entertained and playing by herself with toys

-She is so active and such a little wiggle worm!

-Does not like to be left alone in a room...and lets us all know!

-Can stand holding on to something
-Pulls up to knees

Sweet girl we love you so very much.  You bring so much joy to our family!!
