Easter...

I say this every year, but Easter is my favorite holiday!

Before I go any further, please, please take 5 minutes to watch this video:
What's So Good About Good Friday
I am thankful for my church for so many reasons, but one of those is the way that they incorporate such fun things in to teaching children the Word of God.  Watson is surprising Graham and I left and right with his knowledge of stories in the Bible.  I too often underestimate what he is capable of understanding at such a young age.  I pray every day that my children will come to know the Lord at a young age and that they will be faithful disciples all of their days - I am thankful for a church family that comes alongside us in this journey of parenthood and desires to see my children come to Jesus.

One of the fun things that Valleydale does is our annual Easter Egg Hunt.  It is always such a fun morning!  Watson had a t-ball game before the egg hunt this year but we were sure to catch the end of the fun!

I grew up with a cat - I loved her dearly and wouldn't have ever dreamed of having a dog rather than a cat!  However...I think a dog will soon be my reality.  Watson is OBSESSED.  Both of the kids love Gus, Mel's boxer, but when we had Henry come stay with us they didn't leave his side the whole time!  (This happened Easter weekend so this picture was in my Easter pics...it's not as random as it may seem!)

Easter Egg Hunt at Mom and Dad's - every year Dad fills tons of eggs with fun little surprises.  The kids love it and we love watching them have fun!

With Graham working at a church we always do our Easter baskets the Saturday before Easter Sunday.  We keep it simple and I love that the kids are a-okay with that!

The best I could get on Easter morning :)

March...

This month has been spent enjoying the Spring weather, being at the baseball field, celebrating our Risen Savior, and soaking up our last weeks as a family of four!

Sassy thing...

Have you ever seen a cuter baseball player?

This girl is too much to handle!

Daddy/Son time at the mall - Graham knows how to speak to Watson's heart...Chick Fil A sauce and a milkshake!

Shorts and t-shirt one day, jackets the next...welcome to Spring in Alabama!

My helpers in the kitchen!

These kiddos love playing outside with their Daddy...

February...

A quick recap of the month in pictures...

For Valentines Day this year, Graham gave his littlest Valentine some flowers and a car seat for her beloved baby doll.  This car seat has since run all of our errands with us!

Sweet girl just having a snack and thinking deep thoughts :)

This sweet boy started t-ball this month!  He LOVES it!!

I love watching Watson and Emma play together.  Lately they have been so sweet at night playing after bath time.  This is probably my favorite part of each day!

T-ball season means practicing at home...every day!

Emma is all about her baby dolls right now - it is so sweet to see this nurturing side of her!

It's small, but it works!  Mission combine the kids closets: complete!

Snow day!

Valentine's party at school

Winter brings lots of things...including breathing treatments :(  Last year we saw this little machine WAY too much, but this year has been so much better.  I am thankful that Emma responds well to the treatments, but I sure do hope she grows out of this soon!

My sweet boy :)

January...

Happy New Year!

Graham and I rang in the new year in Atlanta again - I love this tradition!  I love it not because we have big New Years Eve plans, but because of what happens over the following several days - Passion!  Graham was a Team Lead again this year and I went along to help him when needed and receive the perk of enjoying the conference.  I look forward to these days every year.  It is such an honor to be a part of this and to witness thousands of college students worship the Lord and surrender their lives to Him.

Later in the month Watson was the ring bearer in the wedding of two of our favorite people.  Audra and Ryan are dear friends of ours and it has been a joy to see their story unfold.  Having Watson as a part of their wedding was an honor!

We spent a good amount of time outside.  It was a pretty mild winter so we were thankful for lots of days at the park!  I'm also trying to soak up all the time we can get outside since I know once this sweet baby is here we will be trapped inside for a while!

And on the days that it was too cold to be outside, we kept busy playing at home and with friends!

Watson had Circus Day at school this month - it was so cute!  He had a great time!

We have moved Watson and Emma into the same room to make room for baby.  I was nervous about this, but it has actually turned out to be awesome!  The kids LOVE being together and both of them sleep better having someone else in the room with them!  Here is a picture of the beginning stages - it is really cute now that it is all set up!! I will have a picture of the final room posted soon :)

Merry Christmas!

For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulder.  And His name shall be called WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, THE PRINCE OF PEACE.
~Isaiah 9:6

But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of woman, born under the law, to REDEEM those who were under the law, so that we might RECEIVE ADOPTION as sons.
~Galatians 4:4-5

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of GRACE and TRUTH.
~John 1:14

Merry Christmas!!!
