Eight Months...

Eight months of pure joy with this precious boy!  Mason, I say it every time I do a monthly post, but you are loved beyond what you will ever comprehend!  As I rock you to bed every night I thank Jesus for blessing our family with your life.

Size clothes: 12 months
Size diaper: size 4 (can we just note that his sister was in a size 2 at this same age...ha we have a big boy on our hands!)
Sleeping:  Waking up once at night to nurse (with the occasional night that he sleeps all through the night!)  Almost always nurses before naps, and always nurses himself to sleep at night.  Sweet boy is so flexible with his schedule - he always naps in the afternoon at home, but that morning nap is hit or miss in his crib - sometimes in the car, sometimes non at all.  He is such a trooper!
Eating:  Still nursing great - in fact, he LOVES to nurse :)  Seems to love all foods that we have offered, including some small pieces of table food that we have given him.

You did great meeting Santa!  I was fully expecting tears, but you held it together and just stared him down the whole time!

You got your first two teeth this month.  You were fussy at times because of it, but still overall are a VERY happy baby!  Here you are asleep in Emma's bed - I had put you up there with her one afternoon and she came and said "I put Mason to bed, Mommy!"  I walked in the room and this is what I found!

There is nothing better than big, wet baby kisses :)

Watson can do no wrong in your eyes - you adore your big brother like crazy!

Christmas pj's with your best friends :)

See all of that drool?!  Evidence of those two teeth!!  You are an ACTIVE little guy - your hands are always busy touching things and more often than not putting everything in your mouth.

Christmas...

Some pictures of our family Christmas with my family and Graham's family...

Since we went to Oklahoma for Christmas this year and I was a little late in getting our decorations up, I only put one tree up.  I didn't use any ornaments this year (except for some balls) and just used ribbon and picks...it was different that usual but fun for a change.  I will definitely go back to my traditional trees with the ornaments next year!

Merry Christmas from the three most precious babies around!

Mason was most entertained by the bows :)

Emma's first big girl bike! (Gifted by Manna and Poppa)

My older two kids never paid much attention to the tree when they were a baby. Mason, on the other hand, couldn't get enough of it!

Lunch with Janza and Grandpa!

Dinner with Uncle Alan and Car Car!

Sweet baby.

There may not be much documentation of us...but here is proof that we were actually around :)

Nannie gave the kids these light up necklaces that the LOVED!

Santa has arrived!

Emma got lots of new makeup for Christmas and was excited to use it all :)

Nothing cuter than a baby boy in a smocked longall :)

Decked out in Christmas pjs!

Santa?!

December...

This month has been BUSY!  There have been so many fun Christmas parties that we have been able to go to - I love this time of year!  Northwestern Mutual had their party this month and even had a surprise visit from Santa himself!  Mason was a little unsure, but the older two were thrilled!

Photo shoot with the older two while Mason was napping!

Sweet Emma at her class Christmas party

Mason loved the Christmas parties this year :)

Watson's teacher this year, Ms. Tina, is amazing!  We are so thankful for her!!

Watson, you are a JOY!

Emma has LOVED her first year of dance!  These sweet girls have done so good and their teacher, Ms Gina, could not be better for them.  Here they are at their Christmas party...

Mason really got into the holiday spirit this year :)

Mason loves his Melly

The Christmas Dinner at The Club is always one of my very favorite things we do during the Christmas season.  Spending a night with all of my family, eating good food, seeing Santa and watching the kids dance the night away...it doesn't get much better than that!

We made the drive to Oklahoma this month for Christmas.  I have never been more thankful for our library than I am before we make these long trips!  Emma is holding a small tablet that reads stories to you - the kids LOVE these so I always stock up on them before we leave town.

Emma's preschool class at their Christmas program.  She was the cutest little sheep I ever have seen!
